Musical Projects

Cantonuovo Foundation produces artistic and musical works organizing concerts in many countries. The aim is to bring in a new and effective way the Word of God through music to free the spirit of people, spread the music as a means of free expression of thought and faith, finding common ground between people, nations, cultures, people of every age, social class and ethnicity.

Humanitarian projects

Cantonuovo with its founders, Maurizio Tiezzi, Fabrizio Tiezzi, Angela Tancredi, and others numerous volunteers, is actively engaged since 2003 in several projects of humanitarian assistance to the poor, orphans and needy families in many countries, mainly in Kenya, Uganda and Senegal. Here, thanks to the support of qualified local operators, have started an intense activity, supporting many young people and disadvantaged families also cooperating with some educational institutions to provide infrastructures and training programs. The projects currently funded by Cantonuovo Foundation are as follows:

Social Projects

Cantonuovo Foundation aims to promote the betterment of society by providing training to individuals and psychological, moral, material and spiritual assistance to the afflicted, the oppressed and the socially disadvantaged. It plays, therefore, activities to help people to find the purpose in life and to express and enhance their skills, putting them at the service of others. To reach this goal it began a collaboration with the Prison of Siena (Ministry of Justice) to help prisoners to stay in touch with their families during the period of incarceration, to recognize their potential and to prepare them for the reintegration into society and to improve it with their rediscovered value.

Cultural Projects

Cantonuovo Foundation promotes the sharing and the exchange of cultural experiences between people, and intercultural dialogue among nations, starting from the European ones, even in training.
With this purpose, it was started, with the University for Foreigners of Siena, a collaborative relationship for the diffusion of Italian language and culture in the world, destined in time to promote the European integration process through the knowledge of such diverse cultures present on the territory.
