Fabrizio Tiezzi, born in Siena, is a musician, composer, author and professional music therapist
.
His path organically interweaves music, Christian spirituality and
accompanying people, with a focus on voice, sound and
listening as places of presence and transformation.
In November 2000 he received baptism in the Holy Spirit. In the same year,
together with his wife Angela Tancredi and brother Maurizio, he founded Cantonuovo in Siena,
a reality of praise, prayer and spiritual formation that over the years has also developed
internationally, particularly in Slovakia.
He has been in continuous praise and worship ministry since 2001 as a worship leader,
musician and trainer, leading concerts, meetings, seminars, workshops and schools on
Kingdom of God in Italy and abroad.
In 2009, he co-founded the Cantonuovo ETS Foundation, of which he is Vice President and Artistic and Musical Director
.

The heart of his service is to foster the development of people’s spiritual lives through
music, voice and sound.
For him, praise and worship are not simply a musical expression, but a
habitable space of encounter and listening, in which people can recognize their
identity as believers and mature into authentic, embodied and conscious prayer.
Alongside his ministry activities, Fabrizio is a professional music therapist and GIM Therapist,
with experience in oncohematology, autism and personal growth pathways.
This professional dimension remains distinct from the Foundation’s activities, but it nourishes
deeply its quality of presence, listening and caring for people.

As an author and composer, he has written and deposited more than 150 pieces, resulting in a body
of music entirely oriented toward prayer, praise and worship.
He has released
several albums that have accompanied the spiritual journey of Cantonuovo and many
communities in Italy and abroad, including Splendido (2006), God of Hope (2007), Salmo Nuovo
2010 (2010), New Psalm 2010 (2011), Reset (2012), Respiro Live (2015) and CantoNuovo
(2019).
In 2025, Essential was released, a musical work that represents a high point and
of maturity in his artistic and spiritual journey.
Essential is not conceived as a simple album, but as a work for praise,
built around hymns, canticles and prayer streams that invite deep listening,
simplicity and the centrality of the encounter with God.
In this work, music becomes essential, stripped of all excess, to leave room for the
voice, the Word and the action of the Spirit, fostering a praise that is not performative but inhabited,
personal and communal.
In parallel, Fabrizio has developed audio and musical paths dedicated to guided
prayer, worship and meditation on the Word, producing more than 200 tracks of
prayer in music and numerous contents intended for ongoing spiritual walks.
His current work is increasingly oriented toward the creation of works and pathways — not just
albums — in which music becomes a listening space, a time of presence and a place of
transformation, at the service of people’s and community’s spiritual lives.
Over the years he has actively participated in humanitarian projects in Kenya and Uganda,
experiences that have helped form and refine his prayer service of praise and
adoration, always lived within a horizon of discernment, responsibility and communion.
