We are living in times that make it essential to remain anchored to the peace that does not come from the world. Jesus gives us His Peace; it is a ‘free’ peace, not conditioned by environmental or external factors, but comes from the certainty and awareness of His dwelling at the centre of our being. We can access this dimension through praise and prayer. As we abide in His presence, our whole being is enlivened by His Peace; our mind is transformed and finds stillness; our emotions are brought into balance and no longer hold us captive, projecting us into scenarios of future anxieties and fears or past anguish and guilt. With Him at the centre of our hearts, our whole being is filled, and we begin to function as who we truly are, rather than as the world demands. Let us turn our gaze to the centre of our being where Yahwah dwells and praise Him until His Peace pervades our entire existence… let us bring it into the world…
