{"id":21082,"date":"2020-12-16T20:30:19","date_gmt":"2020-12-16T19:30:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cantonuovo.org\/dalla-morte-alla-vita-grazie-a-gesu\/"},"modified":"2026-05-31T16:27:25","modified_gmt":"2026-05-31T14:27:25","slug":"dalla-morte-alla-vita-grazie-a-gesu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cantonuovo.org\/en\/dalla-morte-alla-vita-grazie-a-gesu\/","title":{"rendered":"From death to life through Jesus"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4 class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">When I attended my first Life in the Spirit Seminar, I understood the difference between living in death and living in light.<\/span><\/h4>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong><span class=\"s1\">At the age of 18 I attempted suicide because of a love disappointment, and my parents (self-styled Christians)-who had always been very superstitious, talking about sorceresses, wizards and witches reincarnating as black cats (every year some misfortune happened to us!)-in desperation, instead of taking me to a medical specialist, chose the path they knew best: they took me to a sorceress. <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">As soon as I came in to her, she showed me a picture of Jesus (a deception because these people are nothing but liars and use<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\"> <\/span>images from the Catholic tradition to deceive you!). She asked me what the problem was and I gave her the picture of the boy I wanted at all costs and she made a kind of ritual for us. At the end of the session she gave me and my dad a little bundle: I was to carry it with me at all times and my dad was to put it over the front door on the picture of Jesus because that way it would protect the house from curses and misfortunes. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">He told us that from that day things would get better. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">They actually got worse. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">I became addicted to these people: if things did not go my way, I would panic, be afraid and feel the need to go back to them immediately. Since the woman I first went to was far from my town, not content, my father found one near us, so much so that I could go there alone and whenever I wanted. She used the dish with oil and a thread of wool where she tied knots in it; she would pass the thread through Jesus\u2019 cross and then every day I had to burn a knot.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">I went into depression: I didn\u2019t want to see anyone anymore, I wanted to be alone, I locked myself in my room in the dark, I didn\u2019t eat anymore, I was nervous all the time, I couldn\u2019t wait for night because I didn\u2019t want to see the people around me during the day, but when night came I didn\u2019t want to sleep.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Instead of giving me life, these agents of the devil were taking it away: I was already with my foot in the grave!!!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Jesus, however, had never forsaken me He had always been beside me, but I had placed Him in the darkest, darkest corner of my heart; in fact, He was right outside my heart! And because He is not intrusive, He was eagerly awaiting my YES!!! Because He was concerned about finding His lost sheep!!! <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">However, He already had a plan for my salvation, since I could not do it alone: He introduced me to the right person for me, my husband, he took me to these wonderful people in Cantonuovo, we attended the first Life in the Spirit Seminar together, and from there I understood that by choosing to give space to fortune-telling and occultism I had allowed the devil to suck the life out of me.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">So I decided to say YES to Jesus, and he powerfully came into my life and delivered me from death and swept away all these cursed things.I burned the bundles (both mine and my dad\u2019s) and then together with my husband we burned the papyri we had bought in Egypt on our honeymoon that represented the scarabs and the keys to life.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Because only Jesus is the light of my life! And he showed me that he loved me with unconditional love and above all he loved me for who I was, without wanting anything in return! He just wanted me to put him in the center of my heart that I would consider him the Lord of my life and that if God is with me no one will be against me!
