During a car journey through Cairo, in the company of two Egyptian businessmen, I felt a compelling urge in my spirit to pray in tongues.
The driver and the passenger in front of me were both Muslims. Feeling flustered, I picked up my phone and, miraculously, a call had already gone through to the man who taught me to praise, Fabrizio Tiezzi.
Explaining the situation to him and beginning to praise God took just a moment. It was as if my whole being was pouring out of my mouth in a loud voice. Meanwhile, my friend was praying with me, also in tongues. After about twenty minutes, once this praise had ended, I thanked him and ended the call.
My travelling companions, who had remained silent in the meantime, asked me what had happened, and I, with great calm and peace in my heart, told them that it had been a praise directed to God through the spiritual gift of tongues.
The driver told me that he had listened and understood that in my praise of the Lord God in various languages, I had spoken at least eight languages he recognised: Arabic, Parsi, Iranian, Aramaic and some ancient languages. All languages I have never known. On that occasion, I was also able to testify that for me, the Lord is Jesus.
An hour later, in a famous restaurant in the city centre, we were seated at a table with 130 guests. The driver clutched his neck as if he were choking. Gasping for breath, he told me that something invisible was strangling him and asked for my help. I replied that I could pray for him in the name of Jesus. Cyanotic nodded in agreement, and I cast out the spirit of death that was strangling him; it immediately exhaled from him, accompanied by a loud whooshing sound. The man recovered immediately, saved.
I looked around and, to my amazement, noticed that not even my Italian travelling companions had paid any attention to what had happened, as if we had been shielded from prying eyes.
I thanked God with all my heart, for He still performs great miracles and healings today.
